Back to School Night for Parents & Guardians- September 9th, 5:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
This year the LHS Back to School Night is Virtual. The evening begins with a welcome from LHS Principals and an opportunity for a brief Q&A session (by Grade levels). Parents/Guardians in Grades 9 & 10 and Grades 11 & 12 will receive separate Google Meeting invitations to help manage the Google Meet capacity. These invitations will be sent next Wednesday.
By 3 p.m. on Wednesday, you should receive Google Meet Invitations from teachers for each of your child's courses. If you do not receive a Google Meet Invitation, please contact the course teacher.
This virtual back to school night is when parents can meet teachers and receive quick overviews of the curriculum and learning experience for each course. It also provides parents with some brief time for dialogue and questions about course objectives, expectations, and activities. Please contact teachers separately via email if you have any personal questions or concerns about your child's progress or experience.
In addition, please note that the LHS Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held virtually on October 7th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Information for scheduling appointments for conferences will be sent later.
