The Littleton Historical Society is looking for students and citizens of Littleton to keep Pandemic Journals during this unusual time for our collective history. Perhaps you are already doing this, but if not, it might be just the thing to do with spare time. The LHS would need to have contributors sign a deed of gift when it receives anything for its collection. This will give permission for the LHS to use their work in future publications, exhibits, and online content.
General observations might include:
What precautions did you see in Littleton?
How would you describe the atmosphere in Littleton during the shutdown?
How do you feel about the town's response to the crisis? The state government? The federal government?
More "personal to them" questions:
Think of students and citizens 100 years in the future. What would you want them to know about your experience during the shutdown?
What do you miss most from and about your "normal" life?
What precautions did you and your family take in response to COVID-19?
For students, do you have an after school job? Did you continue working? What was your experience and how did you feel being in public during the shutdown?
When did you realize your day-to-day life would be affected? How did you feel about it?
What has struck you most about this crisis?
