New State Immunization Requirements beginning in 2020-2021

Beginning with the 2020-21 school year, the meningococcal immunization (MenACWY and formerly MCV4) will be required for:

Grade 7:  1 dose of MenACWY for all students

Grade 11: 1 booster dose MenACWY received on or after 16 years of age (1 or more doses of MenACWY vaccine are acceptable as long as one dose was received on or after 16 years of age).

The meningitis B (MenB) immunization does not satisfy this requirement.

Please send in your student's most recent physical examination, which usually includes their immunization record.  Nurses review all immunization records for compliance and will contact parents or guardians if immunizations are missing.
